My Holiday Writing

In the holidays for home learning we had to do some writing or write an email. Here is my email about my birthday. 

My Birthday 

When  Dakota, Mackenzie, Billie, Grace and I woke up on the 17th of April we got up and went to the the lounge and opened presents. I got clothes, Lego, a sketching kit, vouchers and a jewellery box. After that we had cake for breakfast! It was delicious! After everyone had finished breakfast we got ready to go to the pool. It was really fun! At the pool we played on the big inflatables and zoomed down the hydro slides. After the pool we dropped everyone home. Then Casey and I spent the rest of the day building the Lego I got for my birthday.

Rocky Shore Learning Goals

Here are our learning intentions for the rocky shore unit we did this term. I have highlighted green the goals I think I met. 

Swim Safe Achievement Levels

WALT: to achieve our swimming goals and be safe in the water. 
Highlighted green are the swimming goals I've met so far. I have met all the levels so I tutored other students this term.

Learning Intentions for Science We are learning to understand that all living creatures have a life cycle. We are learning that living creatures have bodies that are designed to help them to live and survive.   We are learning that all living things are designed to live in a particular environment. We are learning to understand how food webs work. We are learning that in an ecosystem all living things and their environment are interconnected. We are learning to understand about the Rocky Shore and the impact, both positive and negative, we can have on this environment.

Literacy As part of our rocky shore unit we will also use our literacy skills to read and learn about the rocky shore and to write an information report on a rocky shore creature. Writing We are learning to write an information report about an animal. We are learning to use our writing skills across the curriculum.
